Tremaine's Auto Service

If you’re a Volvo owner within a few hours drive of Tremaine’s, you’re doing your car a disservice if you’re not bringing it here. Honest, efficient, and knowledgeable— this is an excellent shop. I very much appreciated the straightforward and transparent communication and I cannot recommend their expert services enough. Volvos 🤝 Tremaine’s.

Good people here that run the place. I have a 2005 Volvo XC90. Early in its life I would take it to the dealership in Cincy because it was closer to home (live in Cincy area), but Tremaine's does not try to empty your wallet with BS "needs". They're fair and honest and always gets the job done right.

This was my first visit, and despite the fact that it’s a two-hour drive, I’ll absolutely be continuing to do all of my maintenance with them. The level of service, honesty, and expertise makes the trip more than worth it.

Top notch excellence experience at Tremaine’s from the first phone call. Gary took the time to explain and call back with estimates and wait time for parts. No gimmick on services that aren’t warranted either. I felt like the integrity of the company and team is a legacy they believe in by quality service and also the team completing the service in a timely manner. They took the time to answer questions and even show me first hand. No rush and fair pricing for this family owned business who believes in the customer. Definitely worth every dollar going to this business than paying corporate. Thank you again for being a Volvo service in the Dayton area, and bonus for close to the bike path. Honest, professional, knowledgeable, and patient I have been to Tremaine's on a handful of occasions. Gary 2 and Tremaine's team are outstanding and have helped me fix the problems with the old 2006 Volvo V50 which I recently purchased. Firstly, they are extremely knowledgeable and Gary 2 was very patient with me when I had questions. Secondly, they are honest. When I had an engine code (0303) pop up, they told me that the code simply hadn't been reset and that the problem was fixed. They could have told me I needed new spark plugs and ignition coils but were honest. On another occasion they were able to fix some obscure issues (removing an old navigation system) which are probably rarely encountered. I am very glad Tremaine's exists, as it makes owning an older car more manageable. They are honest, professional, and knowledgeable. Thanks a million!
